Since the beginning of 2022, 30,000 tons of wheat grain have been processed in flour and bread by the Agrarian Fund to meet the needs of Ukraine’s population.
In addition to grain processing at bakery plants and shipment of flour to bakery enterprises, the Company continues to supply packaged flour to national and local retail chains. In particular, in April 2022, 65,000 packages of premium flour were shipped, and since the beginning of the year - more than 220,000 packages.
Also, in April 2022, JSC "Agrarian Fund" processed and sold buckwheat for over 73,000 packages through the retail chains of Kyiv and Kyiv region. In the first four months of 2022, the Company shipped more than 250,000 packages of buckwheat to retailers.
Moreover, JSC "Agrarian Fund" continues to support domestic farmers through future harvest purchase program. In particular, to ensure food stability in Ukraine, in April 2022 the Company contracted about 20 thousand tons of wheat grain, and in total concluded purchase contracts for more than 55 thousand tons of wheat grain harvest in 2022.
